Co‑operatives North East

Co‑operatives North East promotes and represents co‑operative enterprises in North East England (County Durham, Northumberland, Tees Valley and Tyne & Wear).

It works to:

• extend knowledge and understanding of the work of co‑operatives, their values and principles;
• promote co‑operative models of practice for ethical businesses and community-based organisations; and
• support and signpost to co‑operative-related training

CNE works closely with Co‑operatives UK and the Co‑operative Group and other regional co‑operative councils.
